A quality’s length is not important if it satisfies all other requirements. If the user is going to have to fix other stuff anyway, however, go ahead and give feedback on it so it can be cleaned up in the next batch. If the length of the quality bothers you, and the player seems agreeable to this, you may work with them, under informed consent, to edit the quality.

Suggestions on quality length, example good qualities, and an expectation and explanation that these qualities be justified in one’s background are in order.

Stuff→Combat→Melee→Swordplay→Short Swords→Scimitar

Stuff→Feeding People→Cooking→Baking→Cakes→Wedding Cake

Stuff→Performer→Plays music→Woodwinds→Reeds→Oboe

Woodwings, Swordplay, and Baking would be the most broad qualities in these scales. We try to get three possible levels of specificity available for the player to choose.
