THE KEERO OF WHITEMARCH: A BRIEF BACKSTORY TO ONE OF THE MOST MYSTERIOUS KEERO CLANS IN LOKA
Far to the north in The Whitemarch resides a Keero clan that have lived in the tundra for as long as they can remember. It is home to a large band of bats who specialize in Svargan technology and have vast knowlege of the skies and have adapted to their enviorment in many ways. They are also the last few who know the secret language of the old keero tribe. Very few non-Keero have ever actually seen this clan. Rumors have been spread that the Whitemarch Keero of Whitmarch have found ways to use Svargan artifacts. They even used this technology to build their own tools and weapons that are hihgly advanced. This is a brief story of the Keero of Whitemarch.
But there is far more than just that. The Keero are a vast tribe of bat Pasu that were once smugglers and delivered messages to people. Long ago they disbanded into clans. Many of these clans can be found all over the world of Loka. But one of the most mysterious clans come from the far north. They are known as, “The Keero of Whitemarch.”
Very little is known about the actual clan itself as only a small handful of explorers have ever seen it. What is known is that, unlike most Pasu tribes, the Keero are the odd ones out. They have had many decades of studying the Svargan tech that can be found throughout the tundras and mountains of Whitemarch. Many years of tinkering and toying with the relics. Because of this they became highly fascinated with the Svargan tech and eventually they had found a way to use it. To build with it. To repair the very objects that most can not.
Over time the small tribe started to grow. Starting out as a small village in the mountains of Whitemarch, they have grown to a staggering size. Adventurers that do discover them say that they live within the huge ruins of an abandoned Svargan city deep within the mountains. That they use the technology left behind to live their lives. If half the stories of the Keero of Whitemarch are true, that would possibly make them one of the most advanced living groups in all of Loka. However, rumors are just rumors however, one can’t help but wonder. What if these rumors are true.
Explorers believe what they wish. But take caution. It is said that these bats are not like any other. There have been sightings of white furred bats that have killed people before. What makes this more disturbing is that some of these sightings have also described them eating the victims. It is possible that the Keero of Whitemarch could be home to a large colony of carnivorous bats. Explorers are oftened warned to take extreme caution when setting off for Whitemarch.
