L.A.C.I. is the Lokan Agency for Civic Investigation. Its location is in Serendipity. For a price, the detectives of L.A.C.I. will solve crimes, or point out likely suspects to the King’s men, and will sometimes supplement their P.I. work by taking bodyguard positions for private citizens. They are similar to the Pinkertons of the 1850s.
